Leading Label Technology –Checkpoint announces a range of ARC approved Checkpoint labels with Impinj M700 family of ICs

Checkpoint Systems, a vertically integrated supplier of RFID Solutions for retail, is pleased to announce new ARC accreditations on a series of label products which enable retailers around the world to improve their inventory visibility, reduce costs, improve performance and increase their profitability.

In April 2020 Checkpoint were the first label manufacturer to launch an Impinj M700 based label, and in August 2020 became the first RFID label manufacturer in the world to achieve Auburn University’s ARC Laboratory certification for the newest end point ICs from Impinj. 

The new ARC approved label range leverages the technology advancements of the Impinj M700 family of products with exciting new features including the highest receive sensitivity (-24 dBm) of any RAIN tag IC, stronger reply signaling (backscattering), and improved AutoTune adaptive RF tuning. The optimized performance increases read range (as much as 11%), improves accuracy, and makes everyday operations, such as scanning with a handheld reader, easier and faster.

The Njord M750, the world’s first inlay to achieve ARC certification in F&I categories, is now joined by the Vortex, Mistral, Zephyr, Triumph and UNO EP to have ARC certifications for a variety of specifications.

Vortex M750                Antenna Dimensions:  42 x 16mm

Checkpoint’s Vortex RFID EPC Label is an RFID field programmable EPC data carrier designed for Merchandise Visibility applications. Vortex delivers high read rate performance in semi-automated physical inventory control and RFID as EAS. Vortex is ISO18000-6C compliant and can be encoded and printed to carry EPC data in several formats – RFID EPC global protocol, printed bar code and human readable text.

The Vortex meets the ARC requirement of Spec K

Njord M750                  Antenna Dimensions:  42 x 24mm

Checkpoint’s Njord RFID EPC Apparel Label combines a small antenna footprint with strong RFID performance for apparel labeling applications such as inventory control and RFID as EAS. Njord utilizes the RFID air protocol ISO18000-6C and can be encoded to carry EPC item level data, printed with bar code and human readable text or fully integrated (sandwiched) into other apparel trim items.

The Njord meets the ARC requirement of Spec A, Spec B, Spec C, Spec D, Spec N, Spec Q, Spec M, Spec G, Spec F, Spec I, Spec K, Spec L, and Spec W5.

Zephyr M750               Antenna Dimensions:  50 x 30mm

Checkpoint’s Zephyr-M750 RFID EPC Label is an RFID field programmable EPC data carrier designed for Merchandise Visibility applications. Zephyr-M750 delivers high read rate performance in semi-automated physical inventory control and RFID as EAS.  Zephyr-M750 is ISO18000-6C compliant and can be encoded and printed to carry EPC data in several formats, printed bar code and human readable text.

The Zephyr meets the ARC requirement of Spec A, Spec B, Spec C, Spec D, Spec N, Spec Q, Spec M, Spec G, Spec F, Spec I, Spec K, Spec L, Spec J, Spec W1, Spec W2, Spec W3, Spec W4, Spec W5, and Spec W6.

Triumph M750                   Antenna Dimensions:  70 x 14mm

Checkpoint’s Triumph Tag is an RFID field programmable EPC data carrier designed for Merchandise Visibility applications. Designed for high read rate performance in semi-automated physical inventory control and RFID as EAS. Triumph utilizes the RFID air protocol ISO18000-6C and can be encoded to carry EPC item level data, printed with bar code and human readable text or fully integrated (sandwiched) into other apparel trim items.

The Triumph meets the ARC requirement of Spec A, Spec B, Spec C, Spec D, Spec N, Spec Q, Spec M, Spec G, Spec F, Spec I, Spec K, Spec L, Spec J, Spec W1, Spec W2, Spec W3, Spec W4, Spec W5, and Spec W6.

UNO EP M750                    Antenna Dimensions:  63 x 41mm

Our Label Application Development team are headquartered in Thorofare, USA and are responsible for the development of new RFID products, plus all representations and claims for RFID and RF label performance.

With 30 years combined experience, our team works closely with all RFID chip suppliers for up-to-date knowledge of supplier roadmaps, new technology, and plans for the development of new products, and product enhancements. We support the production and retailer requirements by conducting “use case” and environmental testing of RF and RFID products.
